Description
This is an advance intermediate upgrade line Fox 330 oboe for an advancing student. It is considered modified conservatory only because it doesn’t have a split ring D, or 3rd octave key. This oboe IS keyed to low Bb plus it includes a low Bb resonance key which is not standard on model 330 — a bonus!
Manufactured in 2008, this oboe includes all standard trill keys, left F and has a tab extension on the F# key for ease of playing. There is light silver plate wear on the touch part of the left F from former player with high acidic sweat 🙁 but that’s cosmetic and will not affect sound or ease of playing. The manufacturing with a majority of cork pads also requires LESS maintenance because cork withstands temperature changes and regular use.
A general overhaul was done to put in good playing condition. The oboe was adjusted and cleaned. It may need slight adjustments after shipping to your location due to temperature and travel.
This is a really solid playing, sounding and resilient instrument. This Fox 330 oboe is placed in a strong/solid case with outside zipper pocket and inside pockets for extra reeds and tools. There is a name tag attached that only needs a thin business sized card inserted with your name/address
